In partnership with the SC Arts Commission, the Athenaeum Press is partnering on expanding the Communal Pen community writing workshops. This initiative showcases short stories to explore the dynamic and ever-changing state of South Carolina. We create space for, amplify, and connectunheard voices through writing workshops, curated publications, and a digital platform.
The Press is facilitating virtual and in-person writing workshops throughout 2023-24, and we have a survey for interested individuals to share their experiences and feedback as we expand models and publishing options for these stories.
